Pertisau am Achensee
In Pertisau you can enjoy, in addition to a wide range of sport and other leisure activities, the beautiful experience of unspoiled nature and pure fresh air – an experience that it is increasingly difficult to find elsewhere!
Pertisau is the starting point for trips into Europe’s largest nature reserve, the Karwendel Mountain Range. This area offers an outstanding range of leisure activities for sports, taking the healthy air and relaxation in a wonderful sunny alpine climate. There is nothing to disturb this village idyll and a quality of life which is rarely to be found today.
Amongst the many sights of Pertisau which are worth a visit we must include the Pertisau Parish church (Pfarrkirche), which was designed by the world-famous architect Prof. Clemens Holzmeister. The church bells ring out the Ave Maria every day at midday and at 6 p.m.
